Move to the Beat

Hello, my name is Dashaya Williams. I am nineteen years old. I'm currently an sophomore at Edinboro University. I look forward to getting an bachelor degree in Early Education and Special Education. Education is very important to me. I love teaching younger children. Some on my aspirations in education is teaching younger children songs, rhymes, etc about my problems. This way students can learn by having fun. I feel as if students in the grade level of second grade will have a better understanding about math, if I'm able to come up with a song or rhymes using the basic math. I'm hoping young children will be able to make up song, sing along, and learn different method on how to remember their basic math. My blog will be an inspirations to those teachers who need to improve their method of teaching as well as my students learning while enjoying themselves.

  1. i like your ideas about using music to learn. from my experience working in a preschool i have noticed children do learn better through music and visuals. if you do this try to make it fun by using different instruments and getting the children's involvement.
